Using the Library
Search as you type, browse by topic, read the FAQ, or ask the AI librarian, which answers only from the library's articles and shows its sources.
On this page
The Library is where IAMB.AI keeps its guides: this documentation, course libraries, and other collections. It is on the public site and in the app's Library section.
Search
- Start typing in the search box: suggestions appear as you type, with the matching words highlighted and the section of the article they come from.
- Press / anywhere on a library page to jump to the search box.
- Small typos are fine, and words in titles and headings count most.
- Filter the results by topic.
If nothing matches, the search is noted: the library grows where people cannot find things.
Browse
The library's home shows its topics, the most read articles, what was recently updated, and the most asked questions. Each article shows when it was last verified, a table of contents, related articles, and "Was this helpful?".
Ask the librarian
Ask the librarian opens a conversation with the AI librarian:
- it answers only from this library's articles, and says so when the library does not cover something;
- every answer comes with numbered sources: click one to open the article at the right section;
- it never invents prices, policies or rules;
- follow-up questions understand the conversation so far.
The AI can make mistakes. Check the linked articles before you rely on an answer.
Visitors who are not logged in can ask a few questions an hour; logged-in readers more.
The FAQ
The FAQ lists the questions people ask most, the most asked first. It is dynamic: questions asked to the librarian and searches that found nothing are grouped by meaning, and the library's editors answer the ones that come up most.
Privacy
Searches and questions are kept for a limited time (a year by default) so the editors can see what is missing; the FAQ keeps only its counts after that. Questions from visitors who are not logged in are stored without their network address.
